Estuary fishing

#1 Post by MayoMan »

Anyone know about different sorts of fish in estuaries and what the best bait is?
Also i can see some massive mullet in the water should i bait the area with bread every day for a few days?

Small little squares of mackeral work well on a size 10 or 12 hook for sea trout, dab, eels. Im sure mackeral or bread be good for the mullet aswel!

I'm not sure about sea trout or eels, but i find fresh lug best for flounders, crab for bass, and sand eels also work well when they're in season.
