Can't stop laughing from the last reply! If it's any help there is still the chance of a fish or two in or around the Waterford Estuary.

You could try cheek point or passage east. or ballyhack .Its on wexford side of passage east .you can get ferry from Waterford side . I find ballyhack better myself. you can get fesh bait in at the angling shop on tramore road accross from woodies diy . I think its call southeast angling centre .They are very good to deal with . Nice bunch of lads you can fish the back tide also There is also the saleens .Add an hour on for Ht at Waterford Bridge . Travel times .Youghal 1.20 mins From kilkenny max . Waterford 30 min on motoway . passage east add about 10 min . Ferry goes every 10 mins or so . If you are going to Youghal . 2 options Kilkenny carraig on suir . on to Dungarvan then Youghal .But most people tend to take motorway to waterford then the new waterford by pass on to main dungarvan road which is a very good road then on to Youghal.

Was down at ballyhack myself last week. Fish all night but no great size, about 2lb being the best cod of the night.

From Kilkenny myself and have fished passage east and cheekpoint in waterford about 4 weeks ago and then youghal about 2 weeks ago....,......May have been just lucky but imo YOUGHAL YOUGHAL YOUGHAL YOUGHAL :D Seriously though your best bet is to keep an eye on the reports on here tonight and tomorrow morning and if I were you, and I really wanted to find a decent cod I would head for youghal and if it doesnt live up to expectation head back through dungarvan towards KK and hit up passage east or cheekpoint which are both only about 15 mins off your route back.We found lug and razor performed best in youghal and only lug was working the night we hit waterford but again that can change every day .
Best of luck
