Re: Frozen Black Lug
hey ro ive caught plenty of fish with it and as a combination of black lug tipped with mackeral or squid, ive never caught codling on it and was using black lug wraps and fresh lug on the other rod which caught the codling so maybe luck i canot say. the flatties seem to love it tho. look at the shore angling reports and see whats working for them,
always helps me

Re: Frozen Black Lug
I always use frozen black lug . I even prefer it to fresh lug , it stays on the hook alot better and I find it can be presented better. It can be stored in the freezer so it's handy to go out when wanted.I've caught many different species with it especially when tipped with squid or mackerel .

Re: Frozen Black Lug
Me and my friend caught 6 nice flounder between us on the frozen black lug! And as Anthony said you can have it in the freezer and just grab it and go! plus any leftovers you can bring home and pop them back in for next time! Another plus is its readily available during winter when live bait can be harder to come by! Great value for money tooanthony byrne wrote:I always use frozen black lug .
