catch a bass

Hello
I have recently started fishing and i would love to catch a sea bass.
Im living in dublin. Any advice on where to go and what bait to use

head south to wexford area at this time of year. i fished for them in the north, and i doubt there be too many about this time of year, but reports suggest wexford direction

oh, and as for bait, rag worm or sand eels worked for me
