fishing killiney, bray or dun laoghaire (wasting my time???)

Hi, im thinking of heading out to killiney beach, bray, or dun laoghaire l to do a bit of fishing. would i be wasting my time or is there some species of fish u can catch at this time of the year around dublin.

You wont be wasting your time at all. In Killiney to lug you'll get small codling, whiting, and lots of shore rockling! Off Dun Laoghaire pier i caught a 2lb coalie yesterday using lug and mackerel!

You might get a few flatties on the rising tide, but not much happening
