Wexford Town

Hi lads

Im heading down to Wexford town early next month with the wife for a few days.Could any one tell me if there is any good marks close to Wexford town so i could leave the wife shopping and get away for a few hours :wink: . Any info would be great as i dont know the area .

you will be very close to katts strand on far side of the bridge should be all right for a few flounders :wink:

try off the marina in wexford town or the wall down by the boat club .
boat club should produce good flounnders and the marina some codling..

Could the cod be big around now there in the marina?

Katts,boat club very quiet this time of year!

Marina can be ok at times in darkness but nothing to get too excited about either....

Best options are only 30min drive from town, East or south coast depending.

send me a pm close to the time and i'll let you know if there is anything south of wexford town, a few good marks only abot 20mins from town
