rock fishing what rigs

hi all , just wondering what gear to use rock fishing rigs leads and so on. have only fished beaches in east cork since i started fishing this year, using 3 hook flapers and grip leads but would like to catch something different than bass and flat fish (not that im complaning).have only ever fished with feathers from rocks for mackeral. thanks

make a one hook trace , with no traped swizel .
to do this you get a lenth of 60lb mono tie a loop at bought ends , one for the lead and the other for the link then you tie a big loop in the middle then cut one side giving you your snood for your hook .
if you get stuck you only lose a lead, a hook and a link .
