Hi all,
I'm looking at buying two decent combos, for clean and rough ground, something decent so I'm going to be spending a few pound. I have used fixed spool for years so looking to progress and use multipliers for a change. Reel wise I was looking at the 525 mag extra and diawa slosh 20/30, for rods possibly one of the diawa supercast range for rough ground and maybe the greys triplex for clean?
Any advice or experience would be greatly appreciated in using any of these and of course, better suggestions are welcome.

The Penn mag extra would be well paired with a Ian Golds Extractor for the rough Ground.markj wrote:Hi all,

The extrator looks like a nice bit of kit, I could be tempted to make a purchase! As for the 525 mag extra, I see there is a "super" mag, what is the difference? I have also read that the daiwa 7ht mag is a good begineers reel?
