The Bridge has been reopened. Don't know anything about the fundraiser, but I am sure some one else will be able to let you know. 
Just be aware that the roads around Gorey are really bad at the moment.

thank god for that it was a nightmare getting to courtown before christmas sharing a country lane with huge trucks is not my idea of fun
