Cold Weather and the fishing

#1 Post by crack off colin »

We are fishing the berea area this june from the 11th for 2 weeks. We fished it the same time last year an we had a nice few fish but no rays which were the target fish. The locals were saying we were a couple of weeks early due to the cold weather during the winter and the bait fish had not arrived.

Do you think that this will also apply in june next year if the weather continues to be cold?

The reason for the decline in bait fish was due to heavy trawling for mackeral and sandell, I hope next year will be a different story!
