Fitting break blocks to sl30sh?

#1 Post by evan699 »

Can anyone tell me how to fit break blocks to a daiwa sl30sh. I stripped it down and cleaned it all out and greased and re-assembled it 2 nights ago and took it out for a cast last night. It's working fine but it's just hard to control. I bought it new and never fitted the break blocks so i want to put them in to see would it solve the problem some bit. Can't seem to find much info online for that type of reel.

Cheers,
Evan

evan699 if you take the side plate off you will see a thin silver bar. just slip a block on each side of it, heres a photo of the bar, as you can see i have only one fitted, but if she is too fast you can add two.
