has anyone used one of these for sea fishing ???

is it the frozen bait box pike bombs that come in the cardboard box you mean man?? if so, i did give them a go during the summer on a few different methods with mixed results. i wrapped a mackeral fillet round one on the conger gear and had a few runs. i also cable tied one to my lead for beach fishing and it did seem to get a bit of interest to my gear. they put out a good oil slick, but just be aware they are very bouyant and float like balsa wood.

No its a sponge one that you soak in oil, then attach it to your rig.
