Winter Fishing?

#1 Post by tincatinca »

Have not done much sea fishing (none this year), and all to date has been during the summer months. At this time of year what would be the best plan of action and what species should I be targetting?
Will be fishing the Galway/Mayo region, beaches and maybe some deeper marks also. I would also imagine most sessions will be done during daylight even though I'm sure the night hours would proberly be better?
Entries now open for the All Ireland Shore Cod Championships on November 29th hosted by Sea Angling Ireland SAC

most sessions done at night time now- pretty much the same species as the summer on the baits in galway/mayo - the spinning is pretty much finishing up
