Been having a few problems with unhooking some fish that seem to have gut hooked themselves, and a bloke told me that the hook de solves in a matter of days so its ok to snip the line close to the hook. I wasn't convinced lol
So I would really like to know if this is true or if there are better ways of unhooking a deeply hooked fish, or is it just part of the sport that you get a few fatalities along the way?
Any advice is welcome as i'm pretty new to this game.
Thanks in advance.
