dig bait in wexford

can one tell me is there anywhere in wexford to dig rag or lug worm,the nearer to enniscorthy the better

Lug to be dug round the back of rosslare point, maybe some of the locals can point you to better digging ground though

Cockle strand in Bannow or the back strand in Rosslare be about your best bet.

I would not bother with cockle strand,its not a patch on what it used to be anymore.Dont get me wrong you will get some lug but they are not very big and can be hard got.

TRUE..was there this morning and after an hour I said "here ,,,f*** this" and got outta there....too much digging for so few lug...

Cockle Strand is well dug out at this stage, use 2 be an amazing place to dig lug, shame!!

I dont think it was dug out,. that amount of lug in one place it would not be possible.I was told there was a red tide that wiped out the lug.
