Re: abu enticer 12ft beach rod
My young lad had one when he was a junior it done him for a while till the rings fell off. Okay for farting around better off getting something that's going to last buying cheap is false economy.pol2768 wrote:Hi thinking of buying an abu enticer beach rod had see a few good reviews of these rods in a few magazines , anyone have one let me know what you think of them, local shop doing me one for 39 quid. cheers in advance.

i had one of these, crackin rods, doubt you'd get something better for anywhere near the same money.fishingking wrote:abu enticer only really a rod i would start off with.I would recommend the shimano nexave usually about 80 quid they are lightweight, fixed spool or multiplier and ye cant really go wrong with shimano.
why not try to get something 2nd hand? better quality of rod for the price of a cheap one

I have an enticer rod now its 10 years old so dont know what it compares to the present model but i think its a beauty. I have zziplex greys etc rods but still take this out when its small surf calm i love the blank. i think the eyes arent great but am considering getting it remade im so fond of it.

Me and a mate have the 10ft one we have them 3yrs, we got them for Spinning for Mackerel weve had no problems with them ,my mate had a Bass of 8and a half lb the reel packed in but the rod was grand.
