Buy a new one, give it a brush with black tea and dry it. Gives that authentic 50-year-old look in minutes!

Hiya Ratty  ... yep its hoggy

Nice to hear from you m8 ... TSF went tits up, some good lads on it, but the forum was a bit narrow me thinks, anyhow

Yep I'm going to pick up a new Saltee's chart, because I fish the Rosslare boat comp, have done last and this year and intend on fishing 2011 (fished it badly this year  ) ... the old chart was simply to frame, I always had intentions on getting a new one, just didn't want to buy two news ones, I'm a door hinge.

Met some good lads over at the Rosslare comp, love Ireland ... how you keeping m8? ... you still a tackle tart

Just when I think I'm reaching a plateau on getting new gear, something new and shiney catches my eye.... once a tackle tart, always a tackle tart. :D

Since moving back here I've been getting into Salmon and Sea Trout angling, as well as Bass on lures from the shore, so there's plenty of scope for being a tackle tart.

You'l be pleased to know that those 2 North Wwestern rods I got off you have given me sterling service - I've teamed an Avet SX/14 lb Fireline on the lighter one. It's a perfect balanced setup.

I threw a North Western boat rod and a reel into the River Mersey a few years back (cold hands) .. it was a stupid mistake ... but not as stupid as me throwing a new uptider and an absolute mint 1974 Abu 7000 again into the River Mersey last winter.

To stop my hands getting cold I have a pair of Dutch military mittens and couldn't be &rsed taking them off, hence me throwing set up number two into the River. Frankly Ratty I'm shi££ing myself with the winter boat league starting the end of this month, I'll probably hook the Chartplotter and that'll go in
