Weed in East Cork?

Does anyone know what the weed situation is like on the east Cork beaches at the moment? Was hoping to get out this weekend, but with all the strong winds and swells I'm wondering if anywhere will be fishable in terms of possible buildup of weed..

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. If I don't hear back I'll give it a shot and report how good/bad the weed is at the mo!

Out last night weed in most places .very big monster surf cant get grip if the wind dies down it wont be to bad

thanks for the info razor, the strong winds seem to be persisting today, hopefully they will start to ease tomorrow

cheers razor, I heard out Garryvoe direction the beaches are very weedy at the moment, but sure enough Ballycroneen and Ballybranigan seem to be clear

Fished there today and there was practically no weed at all.
