Just wondering if anyone had fished Lettergesh or Renvyle lately and if so, is it fishing well and what is the weed situation like. Appreciate any updates you may have.

haha mick maybe all them galways boys dont want a dub to come down and take there fish lol.it should be ok thou.always fishes alrite mate

its about 3 weeks since i fished lettergesh,only did 1 hour at it but had plenty of bites,the weed was not too bad

:lol: :lol: Nah, no worries there mate! Definitely not the case! The Galway lads are pretty good at helping out when & where they can :D

Personally, I haven't fished either spot in a while. If I had up-to-date info, I'd gladly pass it along, as would others :wink:

As for the weed, it may well be clear. A week or so ago, it would have been difficult to fish any beach (at least on most of the West coast) given the high tides, winds ,etc. Weed was being thrown up on most beaches!

Best of luck on whichever beach you fish Mick001 and look forward to an up-to-date report on how it's doing :wink:

mga - have to agree, Connor, Brian and the lads from the Galway Bay SAC have always been very helpful with info around the Galway and Connemara area.
