Loads of big conger - fresh mackerel is useful.

The SPA i would avoid, fishing crap and full of weed all summer, Dellis prob not much better.
The rest of the beaches i would bring lug for flats and Bass and sandeel for Rays and Turbets.
Crab and maddies good aswell.

Fished Rossbeigh this July. Weather wasn't great so it was weeded out for a couple of sessions and had a load of small jellyfish too. I did get lucky for a couple of other sessions though, dogfish, turbot and flounder. The flats were about small to average size and at about 20/30 metres. I had a terrible time getting fresh mackeral at the time so I did most of my fishing with sandeels and razor and a couple of less then fresh mackies but I still managed to land a few. I had a couple of decent takes at distance but I lost one because I was distracted having a Jimmy Riddle and lost another in a raft of weed so I can't say for definite what they were.
I have talked to local anglers that have taken bass there in Autumn/early Winter but I have never fished there this late in the year. Rising tide is best and you can fish anywhere in front of the car-park. This is a Blue Flag beach so I always waited for twilight to fish the near end of the beach. This may not be a problem at this time of year though.
Best of luck.
Derek
