Irecently purchased a Zebco Carp Rod and was wondering if was suitable to use for bass, and what is the maximum weight I could use with it.

What Test curve is it. You will get away with it and it should cast most plugs and spinners. If your thinking of using it for bait fishing 2 - 3oz leads max.
