Any mackerel in cork harbour?

has anyone caught mackerel in cork harbour?
heard roumours they were in monkstown but
not sure if they are true.

All the fresh in the last week has flushed them out and they have gone a bit patchy again.

Tuesday PPOINT 2 1/2 hours no Macks no Bass Just after high tide,

Plug spinning.

Sunny Light breeze, perfect except someone forgot to tell the Fish.

Went home to went the match.

Where are all the Mackerel Gone ?

They were thick around "the waters edge" tonight and last night (where the tug Thrax is moored.).

Had some in Cobh last weekend from the quay at train station, and noticed when leaving Monkstown on weds night they were coming in after the sprats.
