Ello Chaps

I know in the UK there is a mass crab moult around september time, does this happen over here as well? If so is it worth going out picking a few for freezer bait, for when those plump codling decide to run?

Cheers

I used to bait fish a lot and your right! September can produce some good cod fishing.
When it comes to the subject of FROZEN baits, FORGET it. fish fresh baits and you will have better results!

Good quality frozen crab is every bit as good as fresh in my opinion
