All around Travel Rod - Shakespeare Salt Travel Beach Rod

#1 Post by simplywabs »

My rods juts broke improperly stored by my wife and broke a couple of rings. Now I am in the hunt for a replacement to get me going again.

I am trying to get a new low cost but good enough quality for all around shore angling. Of course baring in mind that I need it to be small enough to put in the boot of my car. I am looking at Shakespeare Salt Travel Beach Rod. Do we have members that can help give me some feedback on these or any alternative. This is being sold at around £55 brand new. I belive this Rod is a 6 piece Rod.

Thanks in advance for your feedback.

I'm also looking for a good beach sea travel rod. One I have won't go in the boot, causes no end of problems with kids, dog and wife. Have a look at the following site for review :-

The idea that it might break at joinings is disturbing.

The cheapest I can find is 75.95 Stirling plus postage.

Where can you get it for 55 Euro.?

The last one I was checking went out of stock... it was part of their clearance sale.

if your not going abroad with it why not get a three section rod their are loads to choose from and you will get a longer rod ie 13 foot that is easy to transport and will be a better fishing tool :?:
