Bullock Harbour

#1 Post by beechtrawler »

Happened on bullock harbour on sunday last while coming back from Bray, apparently there was a blessing of the boats ceremony going on, lots of people their, some ceile music and a few beers were being downed also, a pleasant surprise for the moth and i.
There was up to eight boats out fishing, during our time their some of these boats came ashore with lots of fish in black bags, which i presume were mackeral.
i was wondering, if anything other species apart from mackeral are caught in this area and if so, apart from feathers, what bait and tactics would one use to catch these other species from the boats out of bullock and finally would anyone be up to renting a boat some day, preferrably a saturday for sum hours fishing,

Regards
Beechtrawler.
