Fishing in Waterford City

I'm in Waterford on work this week and i'm planning on bringing my rod whats the fishing like along the quays anything to be caught? or do i need to travel further afield

go to the pier at cheekpoint u can fish it all night in comfort use lug cast about 10 yards as tide starts rising id cod over 4lb and whiting over 1lb last august
