Bass fishing

#1 Post by DaleB91 »

Hello there, ive recently went on the quest for bass, ive tried woodstown beech at day and night, low and high tide, summer and winter, still no success. Im ground fishin for them and i think im gettin into the right areas because i keep getting flat fish, flounder most commonly! Can anyone give me advise, please!! would be much appreciated, anyone know of locations or best bait to use, im willing to travel around Waterford for them

well dale i fish around the east waterford the whole time..passage beach is alright but walk up the beach about 100 yards past the big concrete break water..the saleens at the back of tramore strand is also very good on the right tide..forget about woodstown, the only good area on woodstown is if you go out to the top of the wood on the right hand end of the beach..lug,rag or peeler are good but rag are by far the bait of choice around passage and woodstown..i have a great little spot but not lettin it out on the net ya know..if you ever want to go for a fish give me a call on this site i use the site fairly regularly so sholud get a reply from me if you interested..good luck with the fishin anyways.... :o :o :o

maybe try bigger bait if youve been getting lots of flounder...
