Whiting Bay & Youghal

Did two hours down and two hours up on Whiting Bay. Was armed with lug, peeler, mackeral and sandeel. Fed the crabs for four hours. Bait was lasting five minutes max.
Moved down to Youghal Beach for the last of the flood. Same story here, crabs galore.
Thoroughly fed up at this stage I went back to the car, dumped the gear and took out a spinning outfit to have a few casts before i went home. Result, a scrapper of a schoolie bass. I said to him "Get back out there and annoy those crabs". "Will do" , he said, and off he went.
