Little Island, Cork.

#1 Post by ColumMc »

I had my little girl down at the playground by the end of the old Harbour Point Golf course in Little Island Cork last night. Savage amount of activity in the water. Fish of 2-4 lb continiously jumping out of the water. Am I being naive in thinking they were anything other than mullet. Could have swore I saw the odd bar of silver! Sea trout, bass, Salmon??, highly unlikely I know.

I'll try catch them on camera some night.

Anyway my three year old boss tells me she wants to go fishing. Could anyone recommend a safe place for shore angling for some macks, forget Cobh or Ballycotton, way too dangerous.

Thanks.

Colum.
