A Wicklow beach 06/07/10

#1 Post by Mayorga »

People:Me and Rob

Duration: 3 hours

Tide: high

Weather: nice

Bait: peeler and rag

Rigs: pully

Results: 1 Smooth hound and a flounder

Report: Went down for a few casts at 6 o clock the weather was windy south westerly quite a strong breeze which created a nice surf so we thought there might be a silver fella or two floating about in close but never even got a got one tho. Rob picked up a flounder in close and on the last cast i picked up a small hound.

thats a ok hound if you get them on light gear they are fun 8) the problem with the bigger ones is you need a bigger cast and weight so you can only go so light :|
