Where to dig lugworm in Waterford?

Hello guys....Im heading to the Dungarvan area next weekend for a couple of nights. the tide up here isnt suitable for digging lug before i go so I'm hoping some kind soul will point me in the right direction as to where to dig in the Dungarvan area or anywhere within a reasonable drive. go to the back strand in tramore...its about 25 minute drive from dungarvan depending on which way you comin...could call into the fishing shop in waterford they nearly always have lug and rag tel no is 051844314

There's good digging in Whiting Bay, 20 mins the Youghal side of Dungarvan at the moment, though crab rather than lug seems to be delivering more than lug lately. If you send Bhoy32 from the site a pm he'll likely get you a dozen peelers for €10.

I live in Dungarvan and have had lug on Clonea beach just before dungarvan and Whiting bay the other side of Ardmore. This week has been great for mackrell at Helvik Head and had a couple of flatfish on Ballyquin beach again near Ardmore.
