ballymoney strand 3/7/10

got there about half seven fished till half twelve and blanked with lug mac and sandeel.baits were coming back stripped and untouched tried size 2 hooks to size 3/0 hooks nothing.people near us caught 1 or 2 dogs and smoothounds and they had a kayak and were using lug and rag freshly dug!. left ballymoney cause it looked like rain was coming possibly lightning and i love my rod too much to take chances.

you went to ballymoney without crab :shock: you;ll know for the next time! no rain in wicklow area at 5 am but it sure looked like it was on its way and by the time i got home the wind would have knocked you off your feet ,one word explains your bare hooks HERMITS :twisted:
