Drop into Kevin Brain in the Waterville angling centre, I bought a booklet there last year or the year before, that detailed some South Kerry marks, found it a great help as not familiar with the area. It was called 'The practical guide to fishing the south kerry coast'.

Re: fishing kerry
Have to agree with MossM about Kevin Brain's book, it is brilliant for a novice to that area. Better still, if you are in the tackle shop in Waterville you may be able to talk to the man himself. We were over in May and talked to his wife in the shop, she could not have been more helpful. She even changed up ten euro's worth of coins for me, which I ended up giving back to her in exchange for the book. Give Lambs Head a try while you are there the Pollock and Wrasse fishing is exellent.
