I like to spend time fishing with my son. We love to camp on beaches .
This was never a problem on the west coast . But I live in Naas now . I found a beach near Gory where we could pitch a tent and spend the day and night fishing. But it was not Ideal.
Does anyone have any suggestions of other places . Away from the public?? Does not even matter to much if it does not fish well. As long as the young lad could catch a little mack or dab.

There is a camp site on Morriscastle http://www.morriscastlestrand.com that is very nice, if a little expensive. There is another very quite one in Wexford called St Margrets. http://www.campingstmargarets.ie
Both of these are perfect for camping and some fishing, Morriscastle is a little bit more busy on the beach in the evening.

Try to find your way to Killpatrick beach in Wexford off clones upper and drive down the grassy area as far as you can its a nice area to pitch a tent and the beach is in front of you. Good fishing too!
