Hi, we're spending a few days between Newport & Mulranny in a couple of weeks time. Can anyone advise on some good spots for mackerel & other species, preferably which are child friendly. Does anybody know if it's worth fishing at Newport harbour or Mulranny pier ?
Thanks,
Andy

mullaraney pier is your best shot, you will get mack, dogs, huss, pollock, conger, and mullet, also a chance at seatrout, but you need a licence to take one of those!nice safe pier, but it can get a bit busy there.
