South Wall/Poolbeg lighthouse
Have been fishing here recently with limited success for mackerel on feathers so going to go back to fishing bait off the bottom, can anyone tell me is it worth walking all the way down to the lighthouse? does it have any effect on your catch or are your chances just as good at the half moon club?

Re: South Wall/Poolbeg lighthouse
only ever got numbers of mack right off the end i found casting 80 or 90 yards and just hopping the feathers off the bottom in small jerks the best ,i,ve never bait fished down their i,m too lazey to lug all my gear that far
