hey lads a good mate of mine who is new to fishing is heading south from sunday on for a few days with the family.he will end up in tramore.he is new to fishing and is askin me for my help on shore angling.wud any 1 on here be able to recomendd a spot down there that he mite catch something.he is only gettin in to it and 90% chance if he catches something he prob wont no wat it is.lol.we all have to start somewhere i guess.so any lads on here that cud foward me on info of beaches to fish or nearby and techniques aswell that work best.if ur passin me on a mark a pm wud be best/thanks for all\maybe some1 cud meet him?

how ye. the main beach in tramore will throw up a few fish. There is a couple of small bass been cot at the minute. best to fish this in the dark. There is also a spot at the far end of the town called the ladys slip. Can fish well on the rise. lug works well. razor is a good bait in tramore as there is a razor bed there too.

annestown or woodstown are very good beaches. dunmore pier willl get you a few wrasse. use lug rag squid or razor and crab at wodstown at nite

He could try Cheek point .ITs about 5-10 min from Waterford on the dunmore east .Take aleft at maxol station then next right. Past Jack Meads pub Which is Great for food and Drinks.
Mackerel , lug. or crab are very good for here .Which you can get from John o briens on the tramore rd accross from Woodys Diy.. This a great spot for flats gererally not big . Very plentlyful. though.

the metal man is good for spinning for macs, any one in tramore knows where it is, but beware it can be popular with swimmers.
