weed problem

does anybody know what the story is with all the weed. Ive been fishin all around waterford and south wexford. I fished in the courtown area the weekend and it was full of the same slimmey weed. Its drivin me mad. Headin to the soutwest this weekend. does anybody know Is there weed over there too?

you could try contacting Ashley Hayden from the Eastern Regional Fisheries Board, he is a regular poster here on the SAI site, he might be able to fill you in on the details?
