I'm planning to take my young nephew fishing there when he comes in August, as i think he will enjoy it and have a fair chance of catching his first fish. I am aware of the safety issues here. Are there any nice safe spots suitable for a supervised youngster? Thanks in anticipation.

Hi, i normally fish the flat rock on the left hand side where you park your car next to the light house. is there better marks? you said you fish the left ?

Just be aware of the large swells here - they can be VERY big even in relative calm conditions.
