Re: dublin area
Many great reports for Dublin last year (I put up a few myself
), so do a search through the site and see if it can provide you with a bit of inspiration. I for one have had 4 super sessions in the Dublin area over the last 3 weeks
Lads can be very precious over good marks in Dublin (of which there are plenty) given the quantity of sea anglers living in and around the capital, so you've got to put a bit of time in to try and find some for yourself.
Give a little thought as to the movements of certain species, what times of year are they close to shore, what do they feed on, what venues are they likely to be showing up at and why? This will benefit your results over a number of sessions for sure.

Re: dublin area
I got sick of spending a fortune driving down to wexford twice (sometimes more) a week chasing bass and smoothies..........
There really is no need as there is quality fishing in the greater dublin area.
Dont get me wrong, its still nice to get a few trips down south fishing, but I can now do so without the presssure of feeling like I'm chasing the feckers all the way down the N11
they can be got on your doorstep most of the time
