Oregon steelhead - any advice?

#1 Post by Bradan »

Prob doing a road trip with the missus in northern California/Oregon/Washington last week in Sep/first week in October - may get a few days in myself before I meet up with her. Love a crack at the steelhead in some of the coastal rivers - anyone ever been, and if so, advice welcome on where to go, which rivers, places to stay, good tackle shops, recommended guides....
Cheers!
Its called fishing, not catching. If it was called catching it wouldn't be fishing!

dont know anything about the fishing - but Olympic national park is well worth a short hike in - its a temperate rainforest and its got all these natural hot springs that after 2-3 hour hike are class to relax in - like a hot tub at the end of your walk!!!
