where to go

i have a couple of days off nxt week, and i havent been out this year yet i am ashamed to say, just looking for pointers as to wheres fishing well, i live in dublin but dont mind traveling a bit, so any ideas would be welcome,and also, what am i fishing for this time of the year are cod still around, i know its too early for the mackrel but what about the bass, just looking on this site and my old favourite wicklow bay dont seem to be co-operating very well with major catches, any ideas welcome tanx lads

ive been having some good fishing on the clare coast with good flaties and schoolie bass nothing over 3 lbs but good sport all the same.Fishing around galway city is poor enough some flatties,codling,coalies but i hear they are starting to get ray out in conemara these days pm me if you want for exact areas
