Turbot fishing sligo

Does anyone know a shore turbot mark in Sligo. Would really appreciate the help. Pleas reply,

have often had them off trawee and dunmoran strand - nothing of any size though - largest maybe 25cm, in close on a rising tide, sandeel, mack and earthworms tipped with mack have all worked.

an on a bit of a tangent - was once told large turbot often feed on weevers - guy working a commercial boat said that big turbo often had weevers in their stomach contents -

Like Davy said Trawee can usually throw up a few. I normally get them from Mermaids Cove at Mullaghmore, they are never very big but it usually throws up a few. Fish during daylight because you won't get past the micro coalies once it gets dark.

same here. i caught turbot at mermaids cove in mullaghmore.

they are very tasty. also arround 2 21/2 pounds seatrout

strandhill beach...low tide...mackerel,lug,sandeel...hope this help :)

seatrout,plaice,dogfight,wrasse,Pollack,thornback ray,spotted ray,red gurnard,tompot blenny,sandeel,herring,mackerel....

As zeke said Strandhill, myself & a friend been fishing mermaids cove for the past 8 years can be very hit & miss this time of year, there are some good Flounder beside the small stream & any Turbot we got were very small. But does throw up some nice Trout from time to time on Squid & Sandeel Baits on the filling tide.

Im going out next saturday. Im not sure where I should go. where what bait and what tide should i go for. essentially wheres me best bet.
