fishfaces hush hush secret mark

#1 Post by mitch »

people billy millbrook /me
tide rising
rigs 2/3 hook flaps 3and 4/0 hooks
wind light north /northeast
time 5 pm to 8 .45pm
bait lug /crab /prawn/wraps /mack

again lots of codling to 33 cm , 5 flounder to 27cm , dabs to 26 cm rockling and pinhead whiting

6 rods between 3 of us and we decided to fish big baits and go for the big un .well that was
the plan after billys codling the night before 8) That didn't happen  but i can tell
you the big hooks didn't put the fish off ,there was a steady flow of fish all night .it looked
strange bringing in dabs on 4/0 hooks

seanie prawn didn't work tonight  lug and crab were top baits

it was a great night with plenty of fish and lots and lots of banter

fair fishing there :D

may i ask a probabley dumbfounded question .....whats the difference between a pinhead whitning and a whiting :| :)
Fisherman's prayer:
God grant that I may live to fish, For another rainy day.
But when my final cast is made, I then most humbly pray.
When nestled in your landing net, As I lay peacefully asleep.
You'll smile at me and judge, That I'm "good enough to keep"!

Pin whiting are ones that are not eating size. Pinhead whiting are the ones that are smaller then the hook
