weather a cracker of a day with a 17km southeasterly wind at out backs


first session of year , i know its late but with the weather and exams couldn't get out ,
myself and john were going mental for a session so we decided to head to westport and see what was happening went to see doug in a shore thing to get some bait and the heads up on the spots he adviced us to go to little killary and silver strand , so me and john decided to try a silver strand for a change since we never fished it .
got to silverstrand at 10 just when the tide was falling set up two rods each one in far and 1 out a distance
used dif bait and dif rigs all day and no joy till 6 when i landed a small dab waited another 3 hours nothing else happening so we decided to head home and see if we won the euromillions unfortunately we didn't but great to get out for a wee session

Always great to get out for few hrs, even if the fishing is hard going.
Hard luck on the euromillions! I was sure I was going to win it this time around as well !!!!!
