whats the views on a portabote.are they safe in sheltered waters or to good to be true?

Hi y'all,
I posted a similar question some time ago . "Search" and you'll find if you haven't already done so . Doesn't tell you a great deal tho' . Don't think any of us have any direct experience of these things actually on the water ( MAC - did you ? Have to admit that I moved on to other things when there seemed no real prospect of getting the price down . But maybe if we negotiated for more than one ? Who knows .
