People: myself

Duration:4.5 hours

Tide:dropping

Weather:freezing cold, calm, slight NE breeze

Bait:mack, sandeel and squid

Rigs:pully pennals, flappers and long and lows

Results:whiting, coalies, codling, dogfish

Report: Was such a beautiful day i decided to get out for a few casts after work. Arrived at high water and threw a flapper out and a long and low on the other rod. Nofish first cast but fish were coming in steadily after that. Decided to give up on the flappers as all i was getting was small whiting, coalies and the occasional bigger coalie. It was pully pennals from here in, a 3/0 pennal on one rod and a 2/0 on the other. Put big baits out and got a doggie straight away. Started to get better whiting to 29 cms too. This continued till the last hour when i got a codling of 28 cms :D . Kept getting whiting then i got another codling of 31cms on my last cast. Had to head home, no bait left :( :( . Was a nice session in the end, finished on 28 whiting, 6 coalies, 2 codling and a doggie.
