People:me and the senior

Duration:2 til 6

Tide:Both

Weather:Wind blowing south westerly

Bait:Lug

Rigs:Various

Results:5 whitning 2 small cod
10 Flatfish

Report:On celebration of parent teacher meeting and monday til wednesdays Christmas Examinations decided to head down to a local mark. Set up and nothing for first 20 minutes but then started hitting the odd cod or whitning. Then at around 4 or 5 the flatfish started and improved in size from the smallest to the largest but then got back to the whitning. Chill turned into a freeze so we packed and headed home. A few wore keepable. 8) Altogether a good days fishing

Fisherman's prayer:
God grant that I may live to fish, For another rainy day.
But when my final cast is made, I then most humbly pray.
When nestled in your landing net, As I lay peacefully asleep.
You'll smile at me and judge, That I'm "good enough to keep"!
