daiwa tdxs 129pm and 133pm views

At the suggestion of various members and given the magazines will run a mile from criticising a piece of kit, here is your chance to tell us what you really think about a rod, reel, line, lure... keep it legal please!

Lads just wondering what the main differances between these two are apart from the lengths. Are they user friendly and can they handle 6ozs comfortably, ive been told the133pm is a decent rod and more than capable of slugging it out,but just curious on the 129pm and what its like.

funny shtory,,

i had the 133pm and loved it, was really user friendly and could launch a bait well out there, i know tommy fogarty and donal d use em and they can well smash one out there. coming home one night from a session in wexford me uncle keith murphy was removing the rod from the car when the tip went ping, from this day on it became a 129pm and still, she could not go wrong. cracking piece of kit and she wont let you down.

Cheers for the reply Eric, looks like the xmas pressie from the mrs is sorted. Many conflicting stories from internet searches but at least now a few quality anglers have given a thumbs up to either of these rods.
