canopy window help

#1 Post by kissafish »

Hi Lads.
I bought a used pram hood canopy for a Shetland 535.
The canopy fabric is in good order, but the plastic windows are very weathered and stained, Its like looking out of a frosted window.
Is there any product that you can recommend to treat the plastic windows.

Once the plastic goes like that there is no going back. It is actually a chemical change in the plastic caused by sunlight.

Agreed, no going back. There maybe a possibility of replacing the panels with new.

Thanks for the info Lads.
I think it would be to expensive to replace the wondows.
But the plastic is not too bad and should last another few years so i will just learn to live with them 8)
